For Jane, this award is a step towards achieving her goals. She hopes that through her work she can continue to break down barriers and stereotypes for women and people from diverse backgrounds. This is especially important to her as a female executive in the largely male-dominated trade industry.
Being named the Outstanding Young Business Leader of the Year will help Jane to continue championing the importance of diversity in business, especially in leadership roles.
Only a couple of months earlier in August, Curran , Electrical, Heating & Air was awarded the 2023 NSW Service Business Award at the Master Electricians Australia Excellence Awards. This award is reserved for an electrical business that demonstrates outstanding commitment to the customer, quality workmanship and efficient operational processes.
