We had a great response to our previous blog post introducing our new apprentice Grace that we decided to introduce you to our Customer Service Rep as well. Rachel does a fantastic job helping out our clients.
What do you like best about working in plumbing and with plumbers?
It seems that our employees love the unpredictability and fast-paced work of plumbing. Rachel says that one of the reasons she likes plumbing is “because each day isn’t the same as the last. It’s fast paced and there’s never a dull moment”.
What initially got you into customer service?
Rachel got her start in a call centre, a job that’s sure to have many challenges: “My passion for customer service started when I left school. After a few failed attempts at different career paths, I landed a job in a call centre/office role and loved the atmosphere.”
“The idea of helping people and finding the solution to their problems is very rewarding,” Rachel adds.
Rachel’s best tips for working as a CSR
Customer service has its own ups and downs, but Rachel’s given us her best tips for handling the job: “Be positive, confident and love what you do, if you have to drag yourself out of bed every morning, it’s time to start looking at a new career! “
What do you like outside of work?
Rachel loves an adventure, going for random drives and spending time with her family and friends.
She fits right in with our team as we certainly enjoy the adventurous aspect of plumbing!
What three words would your friends and family use to describe you?
Rachel didn’t give us exactly three words but we think we can let this go. She told us that she’s described as ambitious, easy going, and a bit exacting.
