We’re always looking for ways to do things a little better, and recently we’ve made a small change at Curran that we’re pretty proud of.
We’ve partnered with RecycleAll to recycle the PVC, HDPE and polystyrene waste that comes from our job sites where customers have had work done by us.
RecycleAll has recently launched in New South Wales after starting in Victoria, and we’re proud to be the first trade business in NSW to get on board!
That means instead of these materials going to landfill, we can sort them into dedicated bins and send them off to be recycled and given another life.
It’s a simple change, but when you’re a business handling this kind of waste every day, those small changes can add up.
What are we recycling?
PVC
A common material used across plumbing, including pipes, fittings and other components installed on our jobs.
HDPE
A strong, durable plastic used in a range of plumbing applications, including pipes and fittings.
Polystyrene
A lightweight material often used in packaging and protective materials to help keep products safe during transport.
Why we're doing it
Every day our plumbers, electricians and HVAC technicians are working with products, packaging and materials that create waste once a job is complete.
We wanted to take a closer look at what happens to that waste after it leaves a job site.
By separating recyclable materials into dedicated bins, we’re making it easier for our team to keep these materials out of landfill and send them on to be recycled instead.
It’s not going to solve the world’s waste problem overnight. But it’s a practical change we can make within our own business, and we’re proud to be doing it.

We know we’re not going to get everything right, and there’s always more we can improve. But we believe small, practical changes are worth making.
Our new recycling bins are one of those changes, and we’re already looking at what we can do next.
